Custom Designed Show
Was the entertainment at your last event created expressly for your company or was it a cookie-cutter performance that could have been done anywhere? Does your company have funny stories that only your people will understand? David will create and perform a ten to thirty-minute performance constructed entirely from anecdotes and material relevant to your company.
Temporary Insanity
This is the story of the corporate ladder as seen from the bottom. Clark Kent, a temp who refuses to accept the total insignificance of his position, is equipped with only a liberal arts education when he enters the corporate maze. The characters he meets there leave him amused, confused, and ultimately just used. He indulges in a rich fantasy life while filing and copying. He loses himself in stream-of-consciousness inner commentary on the bus and at a meeting. When he finally loses his job only to be rehired as the "Thinker" statue for a corporate party, Clark has a powerful realization about his vocation. Temporary Insanity will speak to anyone who has ever wondered why they had to work for a living.
The Wonder Bread Years
Pat Hazell’s The Wonder Bread Years is a hilarious one-man show-and-tell reminding us that there is still a kid inside each of us, and a sense of wonder that is waiting to be unlocked. A salute to pure escapism and the Baby Boomer Generation, The Wonder Bread Years is akin to opening a time capsule packed with the most common youth-filled joys of childhood, - reminding us all that we share more in common than we have differences. Recognizing the foundation of common interest in both professional and personal situations is key to developing successful relationships in the work environment and at home. Learn More>
Revelations of Mann
In this solo comedy, David recreates the trials and tribulations of a young theatre teacher. With the humor and affection of someone who never stopped learning from his students, David hilariously recreates his first years teaching theatre in a Catholic high school…as a non-Catholic. You'll meet a yearbook full of characters in David's most popular, enduring show: the dubious boss, the obsessive co-workers and the vast array of teens we all knew from our own high school years. David says, "It's a play about growing up. It's all there: the laughter and the pain, glorious beginnings and difficult endings, and the dazzling cast of characters who forever changed my life."
